Ardent dance fans came in from The Hamptons or drove down from Connecticut for Patricia Kennedy and Rolex USA CEO Allen Brill’s annual kickoff luncheon for the Career Transition for Dancers Jubilee Gala. The event was held at Sardi’s where they announced this year’s honorees and the always extraordinary lineup of participating artists in what has become the dance event of the year.
American Ballet Theater Board Member Anka Palitz and The Jerome Robbins Foundation are this year’s honorees.The Honorary chairs are Cynthia Gregory, Donna McKechnie, Kevin McKechnie, Jane Powell, Ann Reinking,Chita Rivera & Ethan Steifel. The 22nd Anniversary Chairs are Patricia J. Kennedy and AllenBrill. Gala Chairs are Yolanda Santos Garza & Peg Ranieri. Vice Chairs are Mercedes Ellington, Alexander Dube, Allen Greenberg, Victoria Herbert, Greg Kriser, Floria V. Lasky, Daniel Stern, Helene Alexopoulos Warrick & Laura Zeckendorf. Artistic Chair is Ann Marie DeAngelo. The Dinner Chair is Janice Becker; Auction Chair is Ann Van Ness; West Coast Chair is Roberta Silbert and Journal Chairs are David Goldring and Michael Weiskopf. Also in attendance were Carol Lieberman, Laurence Krashes, Chris Pennington, Cynthia Fischer and Georg Jensen president Larry Barkley.

For one night only it will be an entertaining, electrifying evening of dance set to music through the decades, from the 50’s to hip hop. With the eclectic fusion of dance and live contemporary music, “Dance Rocks!” will attract theatergoers as well as nostalgia seekers of all generations for an evening of pulsating entertainment.
