Last Saturday night the big white tents on the corner of Wickapogue and Old Town Roads in Southampton, the Southampton Hospital celebrated the 50th anniversary of their Annual Summer party fundraiser, “The Golden Gala.”
Chaired by Jean Remmel FitzSimmons and co-chaired by Ann Grimm, the Golden Anniversary Benefactor was Brooks Brothers. Chuck Scarborough, was master of ceremonies. The evening will benefit the Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine.
Alex Donner and his orchestra made the music under a huge tent which was transformed by Tony Urrutia, for a dinner by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs. |

| Martin + Osa, if you didn’t know (and I didn’t know) is an American Eagle Outfitter’s label. They got together with Creative Time which is an arts organization that curates several large scale art projects annually and hosted a party, the theme of which was the two summertime’s “C’s:” couples and cocktails. The whole thing was inspired by real-life early 20th century husband and wife adventure team, Martin and Osa Johnson. It was a beautiful night in Sagaponack. |
